General Terms and Conditions

  • Music Inspirations behaviour policy is geared towards positive behaviour, however if a child disrupts on a regular basis contact to parents will be made. If there is further disruption and a resolution between the parents/guardians and teacher cannot be made, their place will be removed. NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN IN THIS CASE.
  • Once you are signed up, it will be assumed that you will attend until the end of the academic year. If you would like to cancel your child’s place, we require a minimum of 2 weeks notice or you will be charged for the next term.
  • All of our staff are first aid trained, however we cannot be held responsible for injuries of children as a result of inappropriate behaviour on the child’s part.
  • In the event of an emergency, we will contact the emergency services first and then the parent/guardians.
  • Fees cover tuition at the school or club.
  • For instrumental tuition, any instruments will be bought or hired by parents/guardians. Some accessories such as reeds, recorders, tuition books etc, can be bought through Music Inspirations.
  • In the event of illness, parents/guardians should contact Music Inspirations as soon as possible. No refund will be given for any missed session.
  • It is required that our staff use their mobile phones to send music to speakers via Bluetooth, however, they will not be taking any pictures of any of the children and no child’s details will be stored on any personal mobile phones, as per our safeguarding policy.
  • As many of our teachers are also working musicians, it is possible that teachers will occasionally miss a session due to performance obligations. To provide continuity, a different teacher will be sent to cover the class in the event that the usual teacher cannot attend. However, in the event that it cannot be covered, the class will be cancelled. We will give as much notice as possible and parents/guardians will not be charged.
